Imagine a coastal paradise in Saudi Arabia’s Magna region, where luxury meets innovation. This is the vision coming to life as Hyatt unveils plans to open two new opulent hotels in Jaumur, a scenic location along the Gulf of Aqaba.
A Milestone in Hospitality and Collaboration
Hyatt’s announcement marks a significant chapter in its expansion within the Kingdom, further cementing its partnership with NEOM. These upcoming hotels, set to launch in 2027, will boast a total of 350 rooms and suites, each crafted to offer unique and luxurious experiences for visitors.
Stephen Ansell, Hyatt’s managing director for the Middle East and Africa, shared his enthusiasm about this development during a conversation at the Future Hospitality Summit in Dubai. He stated, We aim to triple our hotel portfolio in Saudi Arabia, planning to develop around 3,000 rooms with new hotel openings on the horizon.
Luxury and Vision 2030: A Perfect Blend
Jaumur is envisioned as a hub for coastal luxury, offering an array of land and sea experiences. It will feature a 300-berth marina and a deep-sea diving research center. The Park Hyatt Jaumur will provide 125 rooms at the heart of the marina community, while the Andaz Jaumur Marina will offer 225 rooms, enhancing the region’s allure.
This ambitious project aligns seamlessly with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to draw in 150 million visitors by the decade’s end. Javier Aguila, Hyatt’s group president for Europe, Middle East, and Africa, expressed his excitement, stating, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is pivotal in Hyatt’s growth strategy in the Middle East, and these properties in NEOM affirm our commitment to expanding our brand footprint.
Embracing Innovation for the Future
In line with its innovative spirit, Hyatt is also integrating artificial intelligence into its operations. Ansell explained how AI will enhance customer service and hotel operations, stating, AI will play a significant role in our focus on customer service. We welcome these changes, acknowledging that they require careful implementation as technology evolves.
Hyatt’s expansion in Saudi Arabia not only represents a commitment to luxury and innovation but also highlights the Kingdom as a burgeoning hub for investment and tourism. As these developments unfold, they present a wealth of opportunities for investors and partners eager to be part of Saudi Arabia’s dynamic growth story.
