The aviation sector alone is set to capture over $50 billion for airport development, with another $40 billion dedicated to new aircraft orders. An additional $10 billion will focus on various projects, including $5 billion for specialized logistics areas around the primary airports in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam. These strategic investments are designed to elevate the nation’s aviation capabilities and infrastructure.
Leadership Endorses Ambitious Aviation Strategy
His Excellency Saleh Al-Jasser, Minister for Transport and Logistics Services, will inaugurate FAF24, emphasizing the unmatched investment prospects in Saudi Arabia’s aviation sector. “Our Saudi Aviation Strategy aims to triple passenger numbers, expand connections to over 250 destinations, and manage 330 million passengers along with 4.5 million tons of cargo by 2030,” he remarked, underscoring the sector’s critical role in the Kingdom’s growth.
Similarly, His Excellency Khalid Al-Falih, Minister for Investment, will open the Investment Showcase, highlighting Saudi Arabia as a new global investment hub. “With a target of $3.3 trillion in investments by 2030, the aviation sector is pivotal to our economic transformation. This showcase offers investors an extraordinary opportunity to engage in our nation’s transformative journey,” he stated.
